We thought we were booking a flight. Turns out I accidentally signed up for a grown man’s excuse to burn aviation fuel every weekend.
The “captain” was far too enthusiastic, pointing out every mountain, lake, and random cow field like they were world-famous landmarks. Apparently, if an airport has a runway and a diner, it’s considered a premier travel destination.
The check-in process consisted of, “Hop in.”
Security? None.
Boarding groups? Just us
In-flight entertainment was listening to him explain horsepower, crosswinds, and why flying is “more efficient than driving” for the 47th time.
The pilot seemed suspiciously happy the entire flight. We asked where we were going, and the answer was, “I don’t know yet… let’s see where the weather is good.”
Would have given one star, but I have to admit:
● The views were incredible.
● The landings were smoother than most commercial airlines.
● The pilot genuinely loves flying more than most people love their families.
Overall, this is less of an airline and more of a very expensive flying addiction disguised as a transportation service.
Would I fly again?
Unfortunately… yes.
